The green really looks different in the picture. It is darker and more Prim...matches the homespun I used for the hangers.

I didn't use green fabric for the trees either. It's painted muslin. I have directions for this flower that tells you to mix coffee with paint and paint fabric, put on a cookie sheet (old one) for a bit at 200 and keep an eye on it. It dries fast and I can get ANY color of fabric I want! LOL

What are the proportions on the coffe and paint. I really like the look of these. They remind me of the fabric gingerbread men that I have seen baked. I just love the idea that you can pick your own colors.

I really just eye-ball it. I only use a little bit of paint in this lid for my brush container (it's one of those Go cups or whatever that you get Frito Lay snacks in). Then I add a bit of coffee and stir until it's not too runny but enough that it helps the paint spread quicker and easier.

I have some snowmen heads started from yesterday and I want to do a few more things. I'm making a few ornaments for Christmas gifts for the parents and in-laws.
