I love to embroider but thought I would give fabric painting a try. I don't know what forum to ask this in but what is a good fabric paint that does not run. I purchased some fabric markers but they ran ----spread through the material past the lines of my design so I took them back.

I am wanting to paint the Denim Dan designs for a quilt for my little 3 yr. old grandson. Maybe I should stick to embroidery but just thought someone here might know of a brand or type of fabric paint that stays put.

I would appreciate any advice I could get on this subject.
