I purchased a used viking #1+ and have a problem when trying to embroidery. The stablizer on the back of the hoop is always tearing away while embroiderying. this causes the material to loosen and bunch up.Can anyone help with this. I can't find anything in the instruction manual. Is there a good step by step out there for using the viking #1+. Thanks

I already tried that, but it doesn't make any difference the stablizer keeps tearing.
Anymore suggestions, would love to finde a step by step book.

what fabric and stabiliser are you using?
Why not try some cut away in the hoop. Spray it with 505 basting spray and stick the fabric onto the stabiliser. (I never hoop the fabric, only the stabiliser). Try that and let
us know how you get on. Slow down the machine too.
