The best thing you can do is to start with your machine's manual and learn to do all it teaches. There are a ba-zillion websites that have info---tutorials--designs etc. I joined several groups and have learned from them all. My favorite forum is Sew Forum....a wealth of information and tons of freebies.

Buy your machine from a dealer who offers plenty of support, repair, and even classes.
