I loved chili dogs as a kid, they used Hormel chili no beans back then, don't know if it's any good anymore. Then when my kids were in school at their "Fall Festival" they had hot dogs with chili & they were so good they always sold out. Don't know if that chili was homemade or not. Apple slices with skin on & carmel dip is good. SIL make the slices about 1/2 in. to 3/4 in. thick on peel side the carmel comes in a tub (like regular dips) a couple of kinds of chips or tortilla chips & mild salsa in place of dip. Should be a fun party!! Oh, if is is cold a good hot spiced cider also.

You could also add hot mulled cider, even if it's not cold..and potatoes wrapped in foil and baked in the coals...or even not wrapped in foil but just baked in the coals.

Shish-kabobs with marinated beef or chicken would be great bon fire fare. Make them up ahead of time, adding pieces of onion, peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, etc. Be sure to marinate the veggies, too.
