leather sleeper sofa

Hi,

Sorry this is a bit duplicative of posts below on leather sofas. But, I did not see anything on sleepers.

We are interested in a queen, leather, sleeper sofa for a guest/tv room. We'd like to spend $2500 or less. Comfort for sleeping is quite important. Would like brown leather in a simple (transitional) style. Would prefer relatively speedy delivery.

(Someone mentioned Lazy Boy to me, but I don't know anything about their prices, etc.)

Any suggestions or thoughts on sources, qualities, etc would be much appreciated (even if the thought is "not possible at that price.")

Thanks,

Catheirne

We recently purchased a Motioncraft leather sleeper sofa and love it! The mattress is thicker and more comfortable than most sleeper sofas. We got ours at the Green Front, but Boyles handles Motioncraft also.

I think that Lazy Boy might be within your price range. We got a great deal on a Lazy Boy leather sleep sofa on Craigslist recently. It's like new, and the seller said his aunt bought it a few years ago for $1600 (Queen size). It seems to be good quality, and my college-age daughter has been sleeping on it every night and finds it to be fine. It has an innerspring mattress. I priced sleep sofas at Lazy Boy and found them to start at around $1000 or so, but did not price leather. They also have the option of the air-inflatable mattresses, which many people seem to like. Hope this helps. Steve

You need to get a Jaymar. Its the only thing worth considering. They have the size options and the mattress upgrades and the coordinating pieces to get you what you want, and be within your budget.

I searched far and wide for a leather queen sleeper and ended up with one manufactured by American Leather (americanleather.com). Sleep comfort was really important to me, and though I was not purchasing it for my primary use, I had never been able to sleep comfortably on any sleeper before. That's now changed. This one is different, the way they do the mattress is unique, it's actually more like padded sections. I've since had many guests and many positive comments, people are really impressed by the comfort. It's still not a real bed, but in the sleeper sofa world I haven't seen anything come close. I don't exactly remember the price, I think it was from about $2,500 depending on type of leather or fabric. Custom delivery is extremely fast. Couldn't be happier.

i would reccomend flexsteel my store carries them and they are virtually complaint free and around 2100 you would have a few dollars left over fromm your 2500 dollar expectation.
1 side note.if you are having this delivered make sure and let the store know in advance if this is going up stairs and if its a straight shot or curves around landings that way the can remove the mattress and if its real diffucult a service technician can remove and reinstall the sleeper mechanism good luck
