My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Clopay versus other manufacturers

Our architect specified a Clopay Coachman series to replace our 16' x 7' garage door. What other brands are comparable, and what are the features to look for? I know the door specified is steel inside and out, insulated etc. Hinges specified were iron strap.

I know clopay has a good reputation, but have also heard of AMAR and Artisan. Has anyone ever heard of these brands: Haas, Designer, C.H.I, Premium, or Hormann?

Any to avoid?
