I have a 21' 4" garage with a hip roof and 2' overhang.I want to add an 8' flat roof the length of the garage as simple as possible using plywood and 2x's and rubberized roofing.I will pour a slab and use treated 4x4's to support the roof. What would be the simplest correct way to tie in the 2x rafters ?
