Too late to pave?

My contractor finished up my garage 10 days ago but due to weather and other reasons the paving contractor has not paved the new driveway. How cold can it get before paving is not recommended? I can wait until spring so I don't absolutely need it done now. I just want the best job.

PA and paving with asphalt.
