Hi khuppert. I don't know your lifestyle but I'd consider floating a sofa on the left as you walk in from the family room and two chairs and an accent table in front of the window and a big square coffee table. I would definately put in a small game table and chairs in the right corner (as you walk in from the fr) with a cool (non dinette chandy). This would be great for puzzles, cards, or cocktail conversation with friends. On the other wall, a console type table for the "dry bar" or hors de ourves with a couple of ottoman underneath in case you need to pull them up to the coffee table for extra seating. Lighting will be important, and probably another discussion! Here's a sample of game table in living space.
