I have a probably cotton/wool area rug that does not lay flat.Its about 8' X 12'. It's a middle eastern type pattern with beautiful bright colors. It's sort of a hazard the way it furls and pops up. I have it on a hardwood floor and does not lay flat no matter how long Its down. I have not put a pad under it,not wanting to add more of a trip hazard. Would getting it cleaned or steamed help? Where do I get this done? If that doesn't help,what can I do? I live in Boston Metrowest area.
