I feel bad for all the people who post questions about their kitchens--countertops, backsplashes, cabinets and all the rest--and wonder why they don't get many answers.

You're in the wrong place.

This is the "Conversations" side. It's for off-topic, um, conversations. It gets far less traffic than the "Discussion" side, which is where people go for help on kitchen renovations.

How do you know? If you see that peachy-bandaid color block behind the list of posts, you're on Conversations. Also, right above the Preview Message button below, it says "This message will be posted to: Off-Topic Conversations."

How do you get to the right place? Go to the upper right corner of the peachy box, where it says "Switch To" and click on "Discussions."
