Do you have televised knitting shows in your area? I have found two--Knitty Gritty and Knit One Purl Two, or something like that. They are both covered on the internet site diynetwork.com where there are some hints and free patterns. I caught only a few episodes of K1P2, and now I cannot find it. Maybe there will be more some day or repeats.

I remember living in the Washington, D. C. suburbs in the late 1960s and finding operatic star Beverly Sills doing a wonderful series of needlework shows. I loved watching it not only because she is such a delightful person but also because I always learned something or was encouraged to try a project.
