They are really cute (I never thought I would call snakes cute). Did you put wires inside them to make tham bendable? Also, where did you get the pattern?

Wendy, there is nothing inside the snakes. The I-cord is small enough and tight enough to make them a bit bendable. Here is where I got the pattern:

I gave up on the snakes because I could not figure out the I-cord, but then I found this website which shows it pretty clearly.

I cannot tell. Is the tongue felt or yarn? knit yarn?

The tongue is a short piece of red yarn, put on like fringe. Hook into end of snake, pull loop up, pull ends through loop and tighten.

How cute is that! The kids must have loved them.
