I've made a lot of raglan sleeved sweaters, although they've been knitted 'in the round'. However, the back and front raglans are treated in the same manner, so I'd think that would mean that the measurements would be the same, whether you measure from the collar down the front, in a diagonal manner, or from collar and down the back....I'd do from collar to armpit in the front, as the easiest way to measure...to do the back, someone else would really have to do that, I'd think.
