That looks really cool, dayenu! Great job! Was that pattern from Fiber Trends? I made one very similar to it for my mom. I'm making a felted purse right now for a friend for her bday...found the pattern online at the URL below. It's knit in all one piece--no seams. I really love the felted look! I'm going to have to do icords for the handle, which I've never done before so I'm kind of anxious about that. But everyone assures me they are a cinch.

I-cords are a total breeze and after felting they are always perfect.

Yes the handle, I think, gives it all the "dressing up" it needs. Have you lined any of the felted bags you've made, and if so, do you have any suggestions on the best way you've found to do it?

About the handle again...I think it might be neat to make 3 i-cords and braid them.

i lined one and attached it to the inside of the bag below the funky yarns I used at the top so there was no danger of it showing through. That one was given as a gift so I can't photo it.

I think the braided I cord would be really strong. great idea.
