Any Chunky yarn should be a good substitute for the Beehive Shetland Chunky. The Jaeger Cotton Flamme is a DK weight yarn. I could not find a weight for the Patons Siberia, but I did find that a #5 knitting needle is suggested. Here is a link to a photo of some of that yarn.

I am so happy to have found you...I have a sweater i'm doing from "Beehive fun & games" from 1986...I'm doing the sweater titled Hearts or Diamonds, my dilemma is that I would like to do a size 12 but it only goes up to a size 8...If you could help me I would be greatly appreciated...

Sharing bought patterns violates copyright laws so legally you can't buy a leisure arts afghan book then scan and send the patterns to other people. Mary
