Try making helmet liners or ski caps for those in the Middle East. They like them in tan. I have been told that they shave their heads to avoid skin/hair problems, so when they are off duty in the winter or sleeping, they like to wear the ski type hats to keep warm.

I have done this too. If anyone would like to make these helmet liners or blankets or afghans, please let me know. I would be happy to send them out for our heroes.

Thank You All for doing these things for our boys overseas! As a wife of an OIF veteran, I am awed and overwhelmed by the response and generosity of the public to our soldiers.
