The following assumes that your are righthanded or at least knitting righthanded.
After finishing the first row of the bobble on the knit side, DO NOT TURN but insert your lefthand needle purlwise into the back of the last stitch you just made (as though you were going to just slip it) and finish the stitch, wrapping the yarn around the lefthand needle counterclockwise and drawing it through to the lefthand needle. "Reverse knit" across all bobble stitches, and then again without turning, continue the pattern to complete the bobble. I hope this helps or maybe someone else can explain it better. It's so easy to show how something is done but putting it into words is harder.
