Hmmmm I don't think that site has the one I'm looking for..... I'd also like to know how to make this flower: (link at bottom of page (click on enlarge image to look at flowers) ..... Any experienced etc. crocheters that can give me a loose idea of how to do this one? I've googled and can't find a pattern etc. for sxomething similar. I googled daisy as well as flower.... do you think this flower is a daisy? Anyway I'd really like to know how to make it and the one I previosly mentioned:

I wouldn't technically classify that as a flower, which may be why you wouldn't find it on the site I posted the link to. That is probably made with a cluster stitch or puff stitch and couldn't stand alone as a flower, as there are chains between the petals. There are many ways to do that. One way to do it would be to make a ring, join, and chain 5, make a treble crochet in the ring, but don't finish the last part of the stitch (leave 2 loops of the treble and the loop from the chain on your hook), then make another treble and when you pull the last loop through the treble, pull it through all of the loops on your hook. Then there would be a certain number of chain stitches, then you would make a 3 treble crochet puff (substituting a treble for the chain at the beginning of the round). Is that as clear as mud?

Try googling on Crochet MOTIFS. I found lots of different flower-/star-/snowflake-like thingies that way last year.

I'm living in Sweden for a while and I left my crochet book on this flower you're looking for in New Orleans (I hope it's okay). I am trying to make it from memory. I think you make a chain of 6 and slip stitch in 1st stitch to close the circle. Then, *double crochet and chain 3 or 4* (repeat around till closed). Now you have something that looks like a pinwheel. Then, in each open space, you can do a petal (sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc). Now you have one layer. Make chains that go across 2 petals: Chain 5 or 6, slip stitch behind two petals (at the junction of petals). Then do petals on this level (sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc). Maybe you can make the hdc into dc and the dc into triple crochet. You can do as many layers as you can stand. Good luck to you and me...
