I took a wide, quilted place mat and turned it into an envelope by folding the bottom up a third and stitching the side edges closed. Then I took a wide yarn needle, threaded it with 18" of very narrow ribbon, and threaded through the top edge of the place mat and knotted it onto the edge, doing it 3 times. I put my needles in the envelope, fold the top over, and wrap the ribbon around the bundle once and tie a bow. Easy and useful.
