If you o 3 or 4 stitches on each edge that you keep as garter stitch or seed stitch, your scarf will not curl. And it gives it a nice finished look.

Or you can do the whole scarf in garter stitch and it will not curl. When I make a scarf out of the eyelash type yarn, I always use just a garter stitch. With eyelash, you don't notice the stitches used, just the fluffiness of the eyelashes.

Sheilajoyce, you're right. Eyelash is VERY forgiving. You could make a mistake on every row and no one would ever know it.

Yes, that is for sure, except you cannot drop a stitch and not pick it up!!! Of course, you can add another yarn to the eyelash for warmth, but even then, just do garter stitch. So easy and so pretty.
