I am a new knitter and found this pattern free on the web. My problem is that I can't find the yarn this pattern calls for and have no idea what to substitute to get the same look. It calls for 2 skeins of Lion Brand Textures Mohair blend. Since the pattern is 6 yrs old I assume they don't make the yarn anymore. It also calls for #5 needles and 24 in circular#9. The guage is 4.25 stitches per inch on large needles in stocking stitch and 6 rows to the inch. If you google the name of the shrug above you can find this pattern-it's by leef Bloomenstiel and looks fun! If anyone has any advice for me I'd appreciate it!
