Was looking at the Today show web page and found a video with Bobbie Thomas wearing the, I called it a collar but yoke is a better term. If anyone would like to see it here is the link.

this looks great - anyone have a pattern similar to this?? would be interested in making one

I have never seen a pattern for a yoke like this, but I made one about 5 years ago. I just took a large doily pattern that I liked and left out the inner rounds and instead of doing rounds, I left it open and turned at the ends of the rounds. It took some figuring, but I think it turned out really nice. It was a gift and in those days I wasn't taking pictures of my pieces. Now, I wish I had.
