Sink material and shape is style and personal taste, so you're on your own for that.

That being said, will it be undermount or top mount? If it's top mounted, then inexpensive SS seems like a no brainer because very inexpensive SS sinks are available and it would be relatively easy to change in the future for whatever reason. Undermounts, on the other hand, are relatively difficult to change after initial install, so it makes sense to go with higher quality product that is more likely to stand the test of time. Could still be stainless, in fact that's my personal preference, but maybe not the $50 one from Home Depot.

Agree with you on ss sink. Looking at Leonet ss sink through granite company that has intertek seal on side as well as sound proofing pads and spray on sound proofing. They also carry Blanco Sig 11 sinks. Hubby says to get it but I think rental.... I do not think I want to $500 in a kitchen sink... I guess I just answered my question... Stainless steel, it will be and undercount..
