Solution Needed: Integrated End Panels

I'm have integrated decorative end panels put in my cabinets, which feature beaded inset flat panel doors. The cabinets will be ceiling height, with crown.

In one area of the layout, however, a pantry cabinet abuts a bench seat. The opposite side of this bench is a normal base and upper cabinet. Of these three cabinets, only the upper can have an integrated end panel. This is pretty normal on a base to have an exposed flat end, but on the pantry cabinet, I'm afraid this will look rather odd, since all of the other ends are being finished (with exception of the space under the island). I think having the panel on the end will create problems with the joint to the bench.

Any suggestions on how to handle this?
