Have you thought of plantation shutters in an "Ashen Green"? You could have full coverage and by adjusting the direction of the shutter have a view without being viewed. I find if I tilt mine down, I can still see out, but "they" can't see in! Same with blinds, of course!

Is this a rental or do you own? Shutters are nice but exepensive and you can't take them with you.

I would do curtains or drapes with sheers. That way, you can keep the curtains open during the day but the sheers will give you the privacy you want.

If privacy during the day isn't needed, then just do curtains or drapes.

I probably wouldn't cover the entire wall, but without seeing a photo it's hard to say for sure. Can you not take photos to post?
