Hi all. I'm looking for some general help with bedroom lighting. I did a search of posts but this is a newer forum and although I read or skimmed all the posts under "bedroom", I didn't find a lot. I am priming my 21x14 bedroom tonight (we are using an extra bed room for now)and my wife comes in and says she would like something more than the center ceiling light and wants some wall lights. I say fine honey, I've got attic acces and I'm a very good DIY electrician. In fact I wired the whole house including the panel and I'm up for a challenge. I don't even mind fishing the wires and repairing the drywall "search holes" if I need to make a few. Her idea is some uplighting wall lights on a dimmer in several spots around the room. Of course I'll put switches in two or three spots if she wants but my real concern is whether or not this makes for nice lighting. I don't want cans, and with 8' ceiling a chandelier is out. Standing or table lights work, but they are what they are. Any response and I would be grateful.
