Hi! We are updating some of the lights in our house - the previous owners filled the house with your basic shop-type florescence (2 bulb) lights....easy on the electric bill, but not very attractive!

We would like to remove these from the ceiling and replace them with other lights, such as a ceiling fan model or track lights.

Is this difficult to do? Is it just a matter of turning off the power, removing the bulbs and then the bulb housing, and disconnecting the wiring?

I am guessing that it may be more complicated than that - does anyone have any tips?
