light fixture sources

we're building our home, and met with our electrician today. since the standard light fixtures aren't very nice, he has agreed to install whatever we provide. could anyone recommend any good web sites that sell quality light fixtures? also, what are good brands (in terms of durability and options)?

we are looking for both indoor and outdoor light fixtures

thanks!

I have absolutely loved soholighting. They have great stuff and seem to beat any price. I have also asked them about a fixture they didn't carry and they were able to get it for me and at the cheapest price. Very nice to work with, quick delivery and no shipping charges. Can't beat that ...

Arcadian lighting on the web provided excellent customer service- very excellent quality with lower price than anywhere else I could find for floor lamps.
