Anyone here get a tankless in the five years since this post? If so, how did it work out?

i installed a Rhinnae propane model and really like. Our model is an outdoor one which was good since I wanted more room in the laundry room. I had to redo our plumbing but I wanted to do that anyway so everything was controlled through one manifold. You can get indoor ones but they to be vented

Hi tumbleweed77! Thanks for your reply. Is the tankless specifically rated for MH use, and where did you buy it? May I ask what you paid for it? Who installed it? Did you already have other propane appliances? Are you a plumber, or is this a DIY project? Sorry to pepper you with questions, but I'm really considering this.

no it was not rated for MH use, but since it was installed outside I was not too concerned. I do not recall where I purchased it but amazon sells them. i paid between 800 and 1000 for mine and have a 9.5 gpm model. i already had propane in place for a furnace. we installed it ourselves but you need gas an electric experience to install it.

Thanks for the info, tumbleweed77! Definitely not a DIY project for me, but I like the idea. For reasons I can't figure out, the hot water heater in my MH is in the corner of the bedroom my daughter will be in. Not in the closet, just in the room itself. Has your tankless cut down your power bill?
