Silgranit sink?

Does anyone have a silgranit sink? I would love to hear reviews and see any photos?

Thanks!

I have a 60/40 Silgranit sink in the biscuit color and it has been in use for about 10 months. It is wonderful and cleans up (with Bar Keepers Friend) like a dream. No water spotting and no staining. I got it from Home and Stone on Ebay. After reading about cracks that apparently happen during shipping, I carefully inspected it upon delivery and found no problems. I've still not posted photos of our finished kitchen but I'm sure that someone who is also a happy Silgranit sink owner will post one.

Love them, had one in the last home and are putting one in our new build. Very easy to clean and keep looking great, we only lived in our last home a few months before the original stainless steel sink was looking very scratched and stained. The black silgranit sink looked great always with no wear showing.

Can't wait to get mine! As I've posted a few times lately, two different, independent sources in the kitchen and plumbing industry have told me unsolicited that Blancos were better than Elkays or any other smaller brand as far as long term wear. I'm planning two in my new kitchen. Some folks here have said that they have trouble with some staining with the lighter colors.

We have had the Blanco silgranit sink in black for about 2 years. Love, love, love it. So easy to keep clean and always looks great. One of my favorite things about our new house.

    hi hedge..

Here's a couple of pictures of mine. Love it.
Learned about them from this forum. It doesn't scratch...is lightweight...A little CLR makes it look like new.

We loved ours - it was a 22" (I think? the sink cab is 24"), and it seemed so much bigger. We went with a black sink mounted under black granite counters and the effect was exactly right.

It kills me that it is being used by subletters now!

Ours is dark brown (was it called Cafe or Mocha...something like that? I can't remember) to go with our dark brown wood floors and ORB fixtures.

It has an extra large bowl on the left and a 1/3 bowl on the right (this also has the garbage disposal...great size for cleaning and cutting veggies!). The left side is awesome for putting large cookie sheets in (or just hiding dishes out of site since it's also super deep! :) )

Haven't had any issues with staining or cracks whatsoever in over a year. It feels good and solid.

Mostly, I love how unique it is...it fits well with our funky organic style.

It shows up in pictures on my blog, though I didn't specifically take photos of it...

Love ours! Had an anthracite super single in the previous house, under-mounted with soapstone. We were both so pleased wtih it that we used the very same sink in our current kitchen, first topmounted with butcher block, then undermounted with Trespa, a chem lab counter material from Norway. Love the look, size, softness, and everything else about this sink.

I have the black silgranit - bar sink and the super single. They are great - love them. If I had gotten stainless I just know they would have looked terrible by now.

Just had mine put in yesterday. It is the Blanco anthracite. I love the look of it. This is my first undermount. I hated my old stainless one. Not sure what I will use to clean it yet. Guess I should figure that out. I also ordered mine from Home and Stone. They did a great job of packing it. No problems at all. I have a picture of it but not sure how to post it.

I love my silgranit sink. It is my first and now I will always have to have one. It's my favorite part of the kitchen.

My Blancoperforma Cascade super single in anthracite. This is so much easier to clean...I will never go back to stainless.

My Mom had a white Silgranite sink and she said it was a pain to clean. It always stained. A close friend had one in black and loved it!
