I've posted before about my former DR turned sitting room, the GW'ers have been so helpful! I now have a lighting question. The room has a ceiling fixture and I found I light I loved, but the light was backordered for 3.5 months and long story short, I've decided not to wait for the light. I cant find the light elsewhere. Now I'm wondering, should the room have a ceiling light? I could put up a decorative cover. Would it look right to just have a lamp in the room?

and the room (now has a rug, bookcase in corner is being replaced with a round end table where I'll put a lamp, ignore the coffee table, waiting for a leather tufted ottoman to come in)
