Blumotion for compact hinges

My old partial overlay cabinets got new doors and concealed hinges (non-soft close). They're supposed to be full overlay, but, due to existing frame limitations, they aren't 100% full overlay, i.e., a little frame and stile show. It's okay. Despite adding the little clear stick-on bumpers, there's still some thudding when the doors close. My research told me to get Blumotion for compact hinges. To see which one I needed, I ordered both kinds: Full overlay (1" or more) and partial overlay (under 1"). They are identical, except the partial overlay comes with a spacer.

I assume "overlay" refers to the amount of door/frame overlap when closed. In my case, it's just under 1", but not by much. I've held both in place (with and without the spacer) and let the door fly. Both work, pretty darn amazing. I assume the difference is physics and the optimum spacing needed to let the door gain some momentum before putting on the brakes.

Anyone else install these? At $2-3 each, it's a no-brainer.
