We have a 100 plus year old Monson Maine/Sheldon Slate sink that we plan on using in our kitchen remodel. It does have a crack in the base that we need to have repaired. Because of its age, it was hooked up to a well pump and does not have holes for faucets. Also, a disposal needs to be fitted to the drain hole because of the thickness of the slate. Any suggestions for vendors that may do this type of work on the North Shore of MA? We could send it to the original manufacturer but the time and expense involved in shipping it there is too great.
