I am posting this question on this site because I know so many of you either have soapstone in your kitchen or have researched it extensively.

How do you feel about soapstone for a bathroom countertop?

I am looking at a slab of dark honed soapstone. How does the honed soapstone differ from just soapstone.

My bathroom has new white cabinets, subway tile in the shower, and hex tile on the floor. I love all the white kitchens that you post here with soapstone so I am hoping it will look as good in my bathroom. Just not sure about this honed stuff.
