So question, I have already purchased a pendant for over the sink area that I fell in love with.

Now i'm having a hard time finding something comparable. Everything I find is too low. I will have to stick to within 12 inches because the main light is in the middle of the kitchen. I was thinking semi-flush but I haven't seen one that matches that much.

The pendant is pretty modern looking-brushed nickel with glass.

I wish I could go with more of a chandelier look but the main light in the kitchen is in the center of the room and not over the breakfast table which is in front of the patio doors...

Any ideas on a main fixture that will look more contemporary but give off enough light? I don't like swirly looking stuff, and I like simple lines!
