Cabinet panel dishwasher problem

We just remodeled our kitchen and installed a cabinet panel KitchenAid dishwasher. After 4 uses, it has warped two cabinet drawer fronts that are next to the dishwasher. The vents for the dishwasher are on the side. The repair man said there is nothing that can be done to the dishwasher to prevent the steam from escaping. The drawers are wood, but the cabinet fronts are not. I do not know the product of the drawer fronts. Does anyone know the solution for this problem?

You're going to have to put up a barrier between the dishwasher and the cabinet. Perhaps a piece of clear glass that will slide into the opening? Make sure the barrier goes all the way to the back wall, because steam will find a way to get around it if you don't.

There are thin heat shields made that are attached on the side of the cabinetry on either side of a ranges to protect thermofoil cabinetry that may help with the dishwasher. However having been in this industry for 30 years, it sounds like you have either a problem with the dishwasher itself or with it's installation. Any kitchen showroom should have the heat shields.
