Lookin' good! Amazing what a bit of color can do for a room, huh?

I like the new color a lot and your room is starting to come along and look very nice. I like the new picture to give some more color and tie in with the red pillows and throw and wall color. I am not sure what to put on the shelf but maybe a low long urn filled with red flowers? I am sure others will have good suggestions.

The wall color looks great! Pull the two pieces of art close together, as they're a set and too far apart. If the red accessories haven't been used yet, I'd look for some deep reds or burgundies, more like what's in that handsome new picture. These seem on the cherry/fuschia side.

Actually, how about getting two more colors in different reds, for a variety of reds there. Looks really great, imo.

Here are a couple ideas for artwork. It looks like the sax player might be too deep, if it's the base itself that's 7.5D. I started with the guitarist, which didn't look very deep at all, but doesn't give the dimension. They are quite tall though. ZGallerie has shops around if you're interested. Otherwise, general idea :)

The theme is a good one, but I don't think you want those standup wired musicians playing on your head during an earthquake either.

A single large red or dark brown or even cream candle would be my pick!

mr sheldo - Way to go!!!!! That paint color looks awesome!Love how your metal artwork and guitar look against it. You know what would look awesome in the corner where the city scape is? - a tall plant that is uplit. That would look incredible at night, and I think you would still have plenty of room for your new pic.
I see a little ledge on your shelf, so you would probably be safe putting an odd number of votive holders there, or an even number with something tall and narrow in the middle of them.
