Many years ago we installed pine Pickwick paneling, primed and painted it. Evidently we didn't use enough primer or the wrong kind, because over the years, knots in the paneling have bled through. So now I need to repaint it.
Do I need to strip the paint (heaven forbid) off the paneling to reprime the surface? Can I just do a thorough sanding, reprime and paint?
WWTPD?
(What Would The Pros Do?)
Thanks very much for any tips.
