This is a painted "nickel gap" boarding. Individual boards that have been milled with a tongue and groove milling that allows a small "nickel size" gap between each board.

The walls are just beautiful! Is the nickel gap boarding hard to install? Are they okay to put in a bathroom with moisture? Can you buy them ready to go, or you have to get someone to mill them?

Thank you for your questions. A) We've heard no complaints from builders regarding the installation of nickel gap boarding. B) We've specified nickel gap boarding within bathrooms, however we always recommend good ventilation within bathrooms where their might be excessive moisture build-up. C) Unfortunately we've not seen nickel gap boarding sold, "ready to go". Hopefully this will change some day.
