Just finished painting the base coat on the guest room walls. Store recommended painting a base coat the same tint as the metallic. Tomorrow we will spray the metallic coat on. The paint seems so thick and dh is wondering how it will spray.

Anyone have any experience? I will put plastic up over the windows but was wondering how you prevent it from spraying on the ceiling. I was thinking of holding a piece of cardboard up to the ceiling while he sprays.

How heavy do you put it on or do you just play around first?
