Can anyone show me a picture of their bench or maybe remember where they've seen one that could work here?

We're wanting to put the leaf back in this table, get rid of those chairs, paint the legs black, stain the top darker. And get these chairs, and build a bench for the wall. We're just trying to get a good example of what to build.

We have a rather small (as you can see) eat-in kitchen. And 4 kiddos. We miss eating meals with them, as the kids usually sit there, and dh and I eat in the living room or at the bar. :( It'll probably look a bit cramped, but at this point. It's past the look. And all about function. We've tested the leaf and we need to keep the end closest to the window, almost up right to it. So, I guess the bench and three chairs will be what we use. Maybe we can get the 4th chair at the end if there's room to walk around.

Oh, and we also plan to paint our cabs white along with that bar. And replace the counters to something darker, probably a laminate to tie in the black we're putting through out.
