Affordable source for longer cabinet pulls?

I feel that I have looked at about 5,000 cabinet pulls online over the last few days. We need a pull about 8-9 inches overall length, and all I have seen in that length are very contemporary SS or ORB arc and bar pulls. We're leaning more toward rustic antique pewter finishes and Arts & Crafts styling.

The few longer pulls I've seen are around $20 each on the discount web sites--and we need 55 of them if we go all-pulls or 25 if we mix with knobs on the doors--so the cost would be considerable. Even if we doubled up with shorter pulls on the drawers, which we really don't want to do, we're still looking at around $15 per drawer for the styles we like.

Has anyone found a dealer carrying less expensive long pulls in a wide variety of styles?

Someone posted this site before. They have lots of longer pulls at really good prices.

    I ordered mine from cabinetknob.com - they have a $50 minimum order.
    Unfortunately, I didn't order enough.
I only needed to add about 3 more - so I couldn't order the add'l from them.
I found another website that had the exact pulls - and they are CHEAPER, don't have a $50 minimum, and their shipping charge is substantially less than cabinetknob.com

Below is a link to the Arts & Crafts pull that I ordered. They might have what you're looking for. There's one on there called "Moderna" that you might like.

I saw long ones (in a variety of lengths) at IKEA for 2/$10.

Thanks, pbrisjar and boxiebabe, for those good links. I had already looked over cabinetknob.com, but I'd never seen the customsdirectonline.com site--I will be sure to comb that one. Raehelen and bellsrus, I looked at the IKEA web site and didn't see any long ones that weren't very modern; I wonder if the stores carry more styles?

    Thanks again, everyone!

My KD recommended Amerock to me for reasonably priced good quality handles/pulls. Here is a link I found from my browsing history. Would oil rubbed pulls do the trick, there are some very reasonably priced ones. HTH

I remember somewhere along the way I stumbled on that link from chefkev (its actually AH TurF) and though they did not have exactly what I was looking for, I was very impressed with their prices. Definitely one worth looking at. ( I ordered from yourhomesupply.com and was thrilled, but again I dont think they have much of the larger pulls. they were quite helpful by phone though and did have more available than what I stumbled onto on their website),
    hoping to help.

maydl: have you looked on Ebay? I've seen many pulls on there for really good prices. Also, as an OT side note, we got all of our new door hardware (not cabinet doors but door to garage, patio door, entry door, bedroom doors, etc) on Ebay at a substantial savings over getting it at HD, Lowes, etc. The savings were so much, that even though they're sold in packages larger than what we needed - it still paid to buy it on Ebay. We're replacing all of the door hardware & hinges throughout our home, going from gold/brass to brushed nickel.

Chefkev--I've had a link to AHTurf for ages, but I haven't looked at it in a while, so I'll go back and do that. Thanks for reminding me! I've looked at Amerock's web site and haven't found any long pulls that we like, but we used a standard-size Amerock pull in our remodeled master bath, and if we decide to use two shorter pulls on our long drawer fronts, then we'd likely choose the same pull again, so that's one way out of this dilemma.

Sheilaaus122--Thanks for the positive feedback on yourhomesupply.com. I've got a link to them, too, and if we decided to double up with shorter pulls, they'll be among the vendors we'll go to for pricing.

Boxiebabe--I haven't looked on eBay, but once we settle on a manufacturer and model number, we'll go to eBay to do a search on it as we go through the pricing ritual. Thanks for that good advice.

Sorry about misspelling AHTurf earlier. I just remembered another site I had looked at (see link below). They seem to have a very good rating from BizRate and claim to have free shipping and a 110% price guarantee. I was just about to follow up with them when I found stainless pulls on sale at IKEA after a tip from "alywa". HTH - Good luck on your search!

Thanks for that link, chefkev; I'll check it out. If only I wanted SS bar pulls, I wouldn't be dealing with this issue!
