In our search of countertop materials we saw a sample counter of a laminate that had a 3" wide corian edge installed along the whole edge. I loved it because the laminate was a rich texture with a deepness to it as far as color went. The corian came in 3 neutral colors and I thought the countertop would be a big oomph in a smaller simple kitchen.

I don't care for corian it looks flat to me. I love quartz but estimates so far have been crazy.

Has anyone seen or purchased this? The contractor we talked to said he has only done 2-3 laminate installs in 3 years.
