Really? Didn't know you could do that. I guess I get the mirror people to cut out the appropriate opening?

If I did that, I'd want very simple low key low profile sconces. I'm having trouble finding sconces I like I'm afraid.

I know that lighting is so important, but it is my least favourite part of designing a room.

As long as the back plate is big enough to cover a round hole in the glass you should be good. (and if it looks good in side view.)

I think this one would be very interesting. A nice compliment to the walnut counter, in that it is cork, and has a warm and natural feel to it, but clean lines. It can be hung horizontally as shown, or vertically, which is what I would probably do.

DH loves the Logico from Artemide. I like it too, but am a little afraid of it. I tend to favour straight lines. The light bouncing off it and the mirror would probably be pretty fabulous though. We may just do it. Hoping that two the smallest ones would be sufficient. Have to see where I can I find it here. I'm in NH for the Easter weekend, I could have them shipped there I suppose.

Can you find anything from LBL lighting? Would the cuttle work here, possibly in Conjunction with a sconce?
