I decoupaged my plastic ones in the bathroom so that I could paint them to match the walls. It's really easy and fun to do.

That's a nice idea for vintage wallpaper, schoolhouse! My worry is that they would get dirty very quickly and couldn't be cleaned as easily as a plastic one, especially for a child's room. Love some of the lampshades, too.

I love them. I saw one switch plate with what I swear was a pattern of wallpaper I found under three layers on my kitchen wall. With cream colored beadboard walls, I'm not sure if the patterns on the switch plate would be too busy. However, perhaps just one in the pantry?? Oh, I had to bookmark that site.

I believe the artist says each has three coats of sealer for protection. Just out of curiosity, I sent a message asking if they had ever done kitchen trash cans.
