Their price was the best I could find & equal to Amazon dot com (which I like, as well), so I gave them a try. The transaction was smooth and I received my product quickly.

wayfair was formerly CSN, but I guess they changed their name to something catchier.

I think Walmart owns them. If you go to the WM site and look at furniture, most of it is from Wayfair. WM shows lower prices on items and shipping free only to the WM store. The odd thing is if you go directly to Wayfair's site is more expensive for the item, but free shipping. I don't know if they charge taxes. Out of curiosity I think I'll find out who owns Wayfair.

Fly, you are right. If going to CSN they are still there, but it shows Wayfair at the top too.

Mtnrdredux, I'm expecting shipment of that rug (though the runner, in the brown/green combo) from Overstock today. Looks like O.co's prices are better than Wayfair's for this particular line of rugs (called "Chrono" on O) though O is out of many sizes right now. When I first started looking they had several sizes in the gray. I almost ordered the gray/cream runner but knew it would be a stupid choice in our front hallway due to its pale color. Of course O's shipping is always a steal.

I ordered some Alno Swarovski crystal cabinet knobs for my bathroom reno from Wayfair. I was linked to them and purchased through Amazon. They were very good to e-mail about any questions and my experience was that they seemed very anxious to please. The beautiful square crystal deco knobs are on my bathroom cabs. I get lots of compliments on them : )

I ordered a mirror mural for son which came in a zillion pieces. I'm sure it was the fault of the carrier. Wayfair was fantastic when I notified them of the problem, their customer service is great. My item had since sold out and Wayfair promptly did a return of my money as well as saving coupons through email.

I'd compare prices, though. The rug I just received today was about $30 cheaper on Overstock.com (where I purchased it) compared to Wayfair's price.

I have ordered lots. Even had an issue with a stool that was damaged during shipping and it was rectified promptly. Order away-solid company.

I was not at all impressed with Wayfair. I have found things much better on Kings Lane and Touch Of Class. Overstock usually has much better prices and very good quality.
