No, the size does not look that big at all unless your husband is over 7' tall. Do you have lights over mirror near sink? If so, you probably do not need an overhead light.

I think it's very cute and won't be too big at all.

If you're not super-picky and would like to save money, I've seen similar fixtures for a lot less at other places, including HD and Lowes.
But if lighting is a big thing for you, something 'blingier' might also be great.

Hubby is tall but only 6'2". This is the only light in this bathroom and centered in the ceiling. The size of this room really is a hoot. Toilet is really close to this cute little sink. Ya know.....you can effortlessly puke and poop simultaneously?!

Sweeeby, I've been to Lowe's two dozen times looking up at the fixtures. My neck is sore. HA! Really have not seen a fixture there that I like for THIS particular bathroom. I've brought home a somewhat similar fixture in ORB for another bathroom I have and both times the shade had a "boo boo" in it and I had to take it back. Now I'm just considering giving this online source a shot.
