Two colors that look really nice with natural maple are green and gray. Idid natural maple cabs and have a gray granite with the tan of the cabinets in it as well and a soft gray/brown floor. If you can find Sixtyohno's kitchen on here she as a gorgeous green granite called Rainforest I think.

I have a few of natural maple. Not all are shaker but
at least you can have an idea of colors with the maple.

One caution when using natural Maple cabs. When the center panel portion of the door or drawer front is plywood and the frames are solid a color difference can develop. The ply portion can yellow and darken at a different rate over time. A reverse(raised when you open) solid panel solves this problem. Or get a written warranty from the maunufacturer.
